If you are a ChinaCases.Org user, your submitted email address will be used to receive a verification code when you register, log in, bind your account or retrieve your password, and as one of the contact details specified to receive ChinaCases.Org product/service notifications. When you use ChinaCases.Org products or services, we automatically collect details about how you use ChinaCases.Org, including information about your browsing, downloads and purchases.

After you have deleted or we have assisted you in deleting your personal information, we will probably not immediately delete the relevant information from our backup system due to applicable laws and security technologies; however, we will delete it when the backup is updated.
If some information cannot be completely deleted due to the need to keep it for future reference, we will anonymize it so that it can no longer be traced to individuals.
