1. Did the case I submitted meet the requirements of the Contest? 1.
Submitted cases should be China-focused cases that address management issues confronted by any company that either operates in China or operates outside of China but is China-based. Only teaching cases are eligible (as opposed to research cases); both field research-based cases and cases based on second-hand materials are acceptable. Field research-based cases must be accompanied by a Confirmation Letter for Case Content. Submitted cases should also conform to the case specification of the Shanghai MBA Case Library. To guarantee impartiality, submitted cases should not contain author or institution-related information. In principle, submitted cases should not be published literature. If a case has been published, a Letter of Authorization for Competition Participation and Non-Exclusive Sales Rights issued by the copyright owner and the holder of the exclusive sales rights to the case should be provided. (For more information, please refer to the Online Submission System.)
2. How do I submit cases? 2.
The online submission system at www.ChinaCases.Org will be accessible starting November 1, 2017 and close on December 31, 2017. Please submit cases at www.ChinaCases.Org. 2017年11月1日www.ChinaCases. ChinaCases.
3. How will my cases be reviewed? 3.
Following your case(s) submission, there will be a three-phase review process: During Phase 1 (December 2017-February 2018), the submitted case will be reviewed through initial review, blind review and group review to establish whether or not it meets the criteria of Shanghai MBA Case Library. Please refer to the Online Submission System for detailed evaluation criteria. During Phase 2 (March 2018), the qualified cases will be further reviewed and shortlisted to no more than ten cases for the Nominated Case Award. During Phase 3 (April 2018), no more than five of the nominated cases will be selected for the Best Case Award. The list of award winners will be announced at www.ChinaCases.Org on April 18, 2018. ChinaCases.Org公布。

In accordance with basic norms of international academia, duplicate submissions to other institutions are not allowed during review process (from formal submission of cases to the completion of review). Any discovery of duplicate submissions will result in the case being disqualified from participation in the Contest. To enable authors to submit their cases to other institutions later, we will notify the author(s) whether their case has been accepted by the Shanghai MBA Case Library by the end of March 2018. Unaccepted cases are not subject to the restraints on duplicate submissions.
